2017年格陵兰冰缘湖泊数据集(IIML)是欧洲航天局(ESA)气候变化倡议(CCI)在Glaciers_cci项目中制作的一部分,是解决陆地基本气候变量(ECV)湖泊的产品。IIML是格陵兰陆地边缘所有已确定的冰缘湖泊的综合记录,使用遥感技术检测。检测到的湖泊以shapefile格式的多边形矢量特征呈现,坐标采用WGS 1984 UTM Zone 24N投影坐标系。冰缘湖泊使用三种独立的遥感方法识别:1)Sentinel-1合成孔径雷达图像的多时相后向散射分类;2)Sentinel-2光学图像的多光谱指数分类;3)北极DEM(v3)的汇检测。所有数据均采用半自动方法进行编译和过滤,使用MEaSUREs GIMP冰掩模的修改版本(https://nsidc.org/data/NSIDC-0714/versions/1)将数据集剪裁到冰缘1公里范围内。然后手动验证每个检测到的湖泊。收集IIML是为了更好地了解冰缘湖泊变化对未来海平面预算和格陵兰陆地和海洋景观(如生态系统和人类活动)的影响。IIML是格陵兰岛的完整清单,没有缺失数据。

The 2017 Greenland Ice-Marginal Lake Dataset (IIML) is part of the Glaciers_cci project under the European Space Agency (ESA) Climate Change Initiative (CCI), and is a product focused on the Essential Climate Variable (ECV) of lakes. IIML is a comprehensive record of all identified ice-marginal lakes along Greenland's terrestrial margin, detected using remote sensing technologies. Detected lakes are presented as polygon vector features in Shapefile format, with coordinates in the WGS 1984 UTM Zone 24N projected coordinate system. Ice-marginal lakes were identified via three independent remote sensing methods: 1) Multi-temporal backscatter classification of Sentinel-1 Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) images; 2) Multispectral index classification of Sentinel-2 optical images; 3) Sink detection using the Arctic DEM (v3). All data were compiled and filtered using a semi-automatic workflow, with the dataset clipped to the region within 1 km of the ice margin via a modified version of the MEaSUREs GIMP ice mask (https://nsidc.org/data/NSIDC-0714/versions/1). Each detected lake was then manually verified. The IIML was compiled to enhance understanding of the impacts of ice-marginal lake changes on future sea level budgets, as well as Greenland's terrestrial and marine landscapes such as ecosystems and human activities. The IIML is a complete inventory of Greenland's ice-marginal lakes with no missing data.
