Datasets associated with "Infanticide in a colonial cooperative bird is not associated with direct reproductive benefits"

This Zenodo record contains two datasets used in the study “Infanticide in a colonial cooperative bird is not associated with direct reproductive benefits", found here https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2025.05.27.656097v5.article-info The datasets describe, for a population of sociable weavers, i) observations of ejection attempts (and infanticide events) and ii) description of video recording effort per nestling age day. One dataset is structured with one row per attacker, and the second with one row per nestling age, respectively. A README file provides detailed descriptions of all variables, data structure, and special cases.
