La vita raccontata in dialetto savese

The paper aims at providing a linguistic account on the description of agricultural and societal practices during the first part of the XX c. narrated in a recent book written with large excerpts in the Sallentinian dialect of Sava (Tarentum, Southern Italy). Diffuse references are made to popular traditions as seen by the eyes of a young boy and rivisited as an old man with the true words of the local dialect which are here emphasized.
