We report the effect of DKK1 treatment during culture on the length and transcriptome of embryos on day 15 of development, supporting the notion that changes early in development affect later stages of development. Overall design: Bovine embryos were produced in vitro and exposed to either 0 or 100 ng/ml DKK1 from day 5 to 7 of culture. 本研究报道了培养过程中DKK1处理对发育第15天胚胎的长度及转录组的影响，佐证了发育早期的变化可影响发育后期阶段这一学术观点。整体实验设计：体外制备牛胚胎，并于培养第5天至第7天分别施以0 ng/ml与100 ng/ml的DKK1处理。于培养第7天将胚胎移植，待发育至第15天时回收胚胎，以评估其长度与转录组特征。
