The study area is located in the Lake Barkol, which is located in the Barkol Basin in the eastern Tianshan Mountains in China. From 2019 to 2020, we sampled Three sets of water samples were collected in August 2019, and three sets of sediment samples were collected in November 2020 from different regions of the lake.

本研究区位于中国天山山脉东部巴里坤盆地内的巴里坤湖（Lake Barkol）。2019年至2020年间，我们于2019年8月在该湖不同区域采集三组水样，并于2020年11月采集了三组沉积物样本。
