Participatory Urban Governance and Community Empowerment: An Ethnographic Study of Sulam Angkinan

This research expands the understanding of participatory governance in urban areas of the Global South by demonstrating that community participation can grow organically through everyday practices, social networks, and cultural heritage, as seen in the Sulam Angkinan community in Palembang. This study emphasizes the importance of incorporating cultural, relational, and gender dimensions into urban governance frameworks, as women are key actors in maintaining local skills and values, despite the challenges of regeneration, innovation, and institutional transformation

本研究以巨港（Palembang）的Sulam Angkinan社区为研究案例，证实社区参与可依托日常实践、社会网络与文化遗产实现有机成长，由此拓展了学界对全球南方（Global South）城市地区参与式治理的认知边界。本研究强调，需将文化维度、关系维度与性别维度纳入城市治理框架；尽管在复兴、创新与制度转型进程中面临多重挑战，但女性仍是维系本土技艺与价值的核心行动者。
