The transcriptomic datasets of the sponge species Chondrilla nucula, Ircinia fasciculata, Petrosia ficiformis, Spongilla lacustris, Pseudospongosorites suberitoides (Demospongiae), Sycon coactum (Calcarea), and Corticium candelabrum (Homoscleromorpha). The datasets of Petrosia ficiformis, Spongilla lacustris, Sycon coactum, and Corticium candelabrum contain two or three runs of short reads (100 bp, paired-end) obtained with Illumina HiSeq1000, while the rest were assembled with only one run. The reads were assembled using the software CLC Genomics Workbench 5.1.

海绵物种Chondrilla nucula、Ircinia fasciculata、Petrosia ficiformis、Spongilla lacustris、Pseudospongosorites suberitoides(寻常海绵纲,Demospongiae)、Sycon coactum(钙质海绵纲,Calcarea)及Corticium candelabrum(同骨海绵纲,Homoscleromorpha)的转录组数据集。Petrosia ficiformis、Spongilla lacustris、Sycon coactum及Corticium candelabrum的数据集包含2至3组通过Illumina HiSeq1000获得的短读长序列(100 bp,双端),而其余物种的数据集仅通过一组序列组装而成。读长序列通过CLC Genomics Workbench 5.1软件进行组装。
