A Terre (being the philosophy of many soldiers)

Begun in December 1917 and revised in July 1918 at Scarborough, as 'Wild with all regrets'. Expanded into 'A Terre' at Ripon in April 1918. This is no. 168 in ed. 'The Complete Poems and Fragments'.
