The purpose of this experiment was to determine whether or not we could detect cleavage in mRNA extracted from cells that expressed high levels of the E. coli protein SymE. This was done by comparing read density across transcripts from +symE and empty vector samples after 0, 30 and 90 minutes of induction. Overall design: 3 replicates of +symE and 3 replicates of empty vector after 0 minutes of induction, 3 replicates of +symE and 3 replicates of empty vector after 30 minutes of induction, 3 replicates of +symE and 3 replicates of empty vector after 90 minutes of induction. Total: 18 samples

本实验旨在检测表达高水平大肠杆菌SymE蛋白的细胞所提取的mRNA是否发生切割。实验通过对比诱导0、30、90分钟后，+symE组与空载体组样本的各转录本（transcripts）读段密度（Read Density），达成上述检测目的。
实验设计概况：诱导0分钟时，+symE组与空载体组各设3个生物学重复；诱导30分钟时，两组各设3个生物学重复；诱导90分钟时，两组各设3个生物学重复。总计18个样本。
