(a) shows a view of the spectra in a range of 2300–3000 cm-1, which encompasses (b) the nitrogen (N2) peak at 2327 cm-1 and (c) a suite of peaks associated with methane (CH4), ethane (C2H6), and propane (C3H8) between 2840–3000 cm-1. The nitrogen spectrum was collected at 70 K and the three alkane spectra were taken at 95 K.Excel spreadsheet contains spectra (with backgrounds removed) of pure methane, ethane, propane, and nitrogen between 2300–3000 cm-1.
