New record of jaguar, Panthera onca (Linnaeus, 1758) (Mammalia, Felidae), from an urban park

We report the first record of a jaguar photographed in Brasilia National Park (BRAZIL) while monitoring giant anteater’s population in the area using camera traps. This record is critical to document the existence of jaguars in highly human–inhabited and urbanized areas. The occurrence data are published in addition as a downloadable file (doi: ).

本研究报道了在巴西巴西利亚国家公园利用相机陷阱监测该区域大食蚁兽种群时，首次拍摄到美洲豹的记录。该记录对于证实美洲豹在人类高度聚居且城市化程度较高的区域的存续至关重要。本次调查的物种出现数据亦以可下载文件形式公开发布（DOI：）。
