Water potential temperature (theta), salinity, and others taken by CTD and water samples from the research vessel Araon in the Bering Strait, Chukchi Sea from 2023-08-01 to 2023-08-05 (NCEI Accession 0293056)

This data set contains water temperature, salinity, and others taken by CTD and water samples from the R/V Araon in Aug. 2023 in Bering - Chukchi Sea area. The expedition was a part of an ongoing project on the Korea-Arctic Ocean Warming and Response of Ecosystem (K-AWARE) project of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, Korea. The objective of K-AWARE are to identify key environmental parameters (physics and biochemistry) in rapid transition due to the sea-ice decrease in the western Arctic Ocean (Bering Strait and Chukchi Sea). These data are composed of physical, chemical and biological parameters. This data set is MSR/RATS U2023-007 as part of the World Data Center for Oceanography. Data are in XLS and TXT formats.

本数据集包含2023年8月由“阿拉翁”号科考船（R/V Araon）在白令-楚科奇海区域通过CTD和水样采集的水温、盐度及其他参数。此次考察是韩国海洋水产部正在开展的“韩国-北冰洋变暖与生态系统响应”（K-AWARE）项目的一部分。K-AWARE项目的目标是识别西冰洋（白令海峡与楚科奇海）因海冰减少而快速变化的关键环境参数（物理及生物化学参数）。该数据集涵盖物理、化学及生物参数。本数据集编号为MSR/RATS U2023-007，是世界海洋学数据中心的组成部分，数据格式为XLS和TXT。
