Australia's Disability Strategy Survey - Wave 1

Australia’s Disability Strategy Survey Wave 1 was conducted by the Australian National University Centre for Social Research and Methods in partnership with the Social Research Centre. It is an important national survey of Australians aged 18 years and over. It will help us understand: Community attitudes towards people with disability and how these are experienced by people with disability. The survey was commissioned by Australian Government to measure and track how community attitudes change over time as part of Australia’s Disability Strategy 2021-2031. The aim is to identify ways to make society more welcoming and inclusive for people with disability. </p>

<b>Data access</b>
<p>To apply for access to this dataset, first, all applicants and collaborators who need to view unit record data must <b>complete and sign</b> a once only <a href="https://ada.edu.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Authorised-User-Confidentiality-Deed-Poll-ADS-Survey-22.10.2025.pdf">Confidentiality Deed Poll</a> and email the scanned, signed copy to [e-mail] and ADA ([e-mail]). Electronic signatures are acceptable.</p>

澳大利亚残疾战略调查第一波（Australia’s Disability Strategy Survey Wave 1）由澳大利亚国立大学社会研究与方法中心（Australian National University Centre for Social Research and Methods）联合社会研究中心（Social Research Centre）开展。该调查是针对18周岁及以上澳大利亚民众的重要全国性调研项目，核心目标在于探明两大维度：社会大众对残疾人群体的态度，以及残疾人群体自身对这类态度的切身感知。本次调研由澳大利亚政府委托开展，作为《2021-2031年澳大利亚残疾战略》（Australia’s Disability Strategy 2021-2031）的组成部分，用于衡量并追踪社会态度随时间的变化趋势，以期识别可推动社会对残疾人群体更具包容性与友好性的可行路径。</p>

<b>数据获取须知</b>
<p>若申请使用本数据集，所有需查看个体记录数据（unit record data）的申请者及合作者，均需<b>完整填写并签署</b>一份仅需签署一次的<a href="https://ada.edu.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Authorised-User-Confidentiality-Deed-Poll-ADS-Survey-22.10.2025.pdf">《授权用户保密契约书》（Confidentiality Deed Poll）</a>，并将扫描签署后的副本发送至[e-mail]与ADA（[e-mail]），电子签名亦可被接受。</p>
