Svalbard Ice-Ocean Studies (SIOS), 2009

The main experimental technique will be to use turbulence instrument clusters (TIC) suspended from the ice, in combination with other ocean and ice measurements. While the data base is sparse, and experimental techniques have evolved over the years, the availability of comparable data sets from different environments provides opportunities for comparison and putting measurements in context.

本研究将采用的主要实验技术为：使用悬挂于冰面的湍流仪器集群（Turbulence Instrument Clusters, TIC），并结合其他海洋与冰态测量工作。尽管当前可用数据库较为匮乏，且实验技术历经多年迭代发展，但不同环境下可比数据集的获取，为开展对比研究以及将测量结果置于合理的研究语境中提供了契机。
