Dipterocarpoideae genome Genome sequencing and assembly

Dipterocarpoideae species form the emergent layer of the Asian rainforest. They are the indicator species for Asian rainforest distribution, but are severely threatened. To understand their adaptation and population decline, we assembled high-quality genomes of seven Dipterocarpoideae species including two autotetraploid species.

龙脑香亚科（Dipterocarpoideae）物种构成亚洲热带雨林的突出林冠层，是亚洲热带雨林分布的指示物种，目前正受到严重威胁。为解析其适应性机制与种群衰退原因，本研究组装了7个该亚科物种的高质量基因组，其中包含2个同源四倍体物种。
