COEXISTENCE OF SYNCHRONOUS TRIPLE CARCINOMAS RESECTED IN A76YEAR OLD PATIENT- A RARE CASE REPORT

The coexistence of synchronous triple carcinomas in a single patient is a rare occurrence. Only a few cases and patient reviews of triple malignancy have been reported in literature. We report here a case of 76year old male that details the existence of squamous cell carcinoma of lip, basal cell carcinoma of left ala of nose and basaloid variant of squamous cell carcinoma of chest wall. Existence of multiple primary carcinomas can be considered as a rare occurrence but due to improved effectiveness in therapies and diagnostic tools, the situation has become more frequent in recent times.

单例患者同时罹患三重同步癌是较为罕见的情况。目前文献中仅报道过少量三重恶性肿瘤病例及相关患者综述。本文报道1例76岁男性患者，该患者同时罹患唇部鳞状细胞癌（squamous cell carcinoma）、左侧鼻翼基底细胞癌（basal cell carcinoma）及胸壁鳞状细胞癌基底样亚型。

多原发癌的发生曾被视为罕见事件，但随着治疗手段与诊断工具的效能不断提升，近年来此类病例的检出率已有所增加。
