Letters from Private Grattan Atkins (14)

A diary kept by Grattan Atkins from 1st January 1915 to 10th September 1915 (when he was shot, with a few subsequent pages on his hospitalization), is also kept by the family.

Pte. 2301 John C. Grattan Atkins, 1/23rd Bn. (County of London) Bn., Territorial Force (London Regiment), served for a time in the battalion's Trench Mortar (Reserve) Battery. The 1/23rd Bn. was part of the 47th (London) Division, joining on 11th May 1915.

格拉坦·阿特金斯于1915年1月1日至1915年9月10日（期间他中弹受伤，后续几页记录了他的住院情况）所写的日记，目前也由其家人保存。
