NLSs of ASR homologues from different species were compared to that of tomato ASR1. NUCLEO software [20] renders high probability of nuclear localization (“predicted NLS” column) for most of the polypeptides. Similarly, YLOC [19] predicts high probability and high confidence of nuclear localization for all the orthologous proteins except for citrus. Species with experimentally proven nuclear localization for ASR are indicated in the “observed” column. Alignment of all NLSs reveals differences in the carboxy-terminal region at the lysine (K) positions highlighted in gray. Molecular weight (MW) of full length mature polypeptides is shown.

将不同物种来源的ASR同源物的核定位信号(nuclear localization signal,简称NLS)与番茄ASR1的核定位信号进行比对。NUCLEO软件[20]可对多数多肽给出较高的核定位概率,相关结果对应"预测NLS(predicted NLS)"列。同理,YLOC软件[19]可预测除柑橘外的所有直系同源蛋白均具备较高的核定位概率与置信度。经实验证实其ASR蛋白具有核定位特性的物种,将在"observed(实测)"列中予以标注。对所有NLS开展序列比对后发现,在灰色高亮标注的赖氨酸(K)位点所在的羧基末端区域存在序列差异。本数据集中同时列出了成熟全长多肽的分子量(MW)。
