The products supplied include a fPAR (fraction of photosynthetically active radiation) map and fPAR uncertainty map, both in raster format by flight line. The fPAR and uncertainty in fPAR maps are derived from the directional surface reflectance, through the intermediate SAVI (Soil Adjusted Vegetation Index) and LAI (Leaf Area Index) products. Raster maps for fPAR and fPAR uncertainty are reported with horizontal reference to the ITRF00 datum and projected to the Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) mapping frame. The fPAR is reported as a unit-less value which describes the fraction of absorbed radiation by plant material.
