Photograph of eleven antelope priests in line in front of a kiva during a Snake Dance Ceremony at Oraibi, Arizona, ca.1896. Their arms, chests and faces are painted white. They wear highly decorated skirts with scarf-like sashes, moccasins, necklaces, feathers, and animal tails. In their right hands, they each carry a round object (perhaps an instrument). A tree and a wall with three people sitting on it are visible behind the priests to the right.
