<p>This survey was conducted by CBS News and WCBS. A sample of 1147 adult residents of the Greater New York City area, including an oversample of the hispanic and black population, were interviewed January 10-12, 1988. Major topics covered: black school chancellor; race relations in NYC; Ed Koch job performance; conflicts.</p>
