County Transportation Profiles

These profiles consist of selected data related to transportation infrastructure as well as relevant census statistics that describe fundamental transportation patterns for countries and county-equivalents within the fifty States and District of Columbia. Infrastructure data shown here are derived from both geospatial and tabular datasets covering airports, maritime docks, rail tracks, and bridges. Dock, railway track, and bridge facilities were assigned to countries using available tabular attribute data whereas airports were assigned using a geospatial join, except for the case of Connecticut where all facilities were assigned via geospatial join due to the recent designation of nine planning regions as county equivalents by the US Census Bureau. Census data were assigned via a tabular join using attributes present within the data. <br>

本数据集包含经筛选的交通基础设施相关数据与对应人口普查统计数据，用于刻画美国50个州及哥伦比亚特区内的州级行政区与县等效行政区（County-equivalents）的基础交通格局。此处展示的基础设施数据源自涵盖机场、海运码头、铁路线路及桥梁的地理空间数据集与表格数据集。码头、铁路线路与桥梁设施通过现有表格属性数据匹配至对应行政单元，而机场设施则通过地理空间连接（Geospatial Join）完成匹配；仅康涅狄格州为例外：因美国人口普查局近期将该州9个规划区域划定为县等效行政区，故该州所有设施均通过地理空间连接完成匹配。人口普查数据则通过数据内置的属性字段，以表格连接（Tabular Join）方式完成匹配。
