This zipped folder contains the MATLAB script Mode_Sensing_Analysisv3.m, which performs the control theoretic analysis described in the preprint "Fly motion vision is tuned to maximize signal energy transfer from motor input to sensor output" available at https://doi.org/10.1101/2024.03.29.587347. This script loads in a semi-empirical model of blowfly flight dynamics contained in FlightDynamics.mat, together with empirical data on the response properties of the lobula plate tangential cells contained in the workspace C_y.mat (see paper for details).
