Structural investigation of Volberthite at high pressure

Within this proposal we investigate structural changes of the spin-1/2 Heisenberg antiferromagnet Volborthite upon application of hydrostatic pressure. Using single crystal x-ray diffraction we study the evolution of bond angles and interatomic distances responsible for magnetic exchange interaction.

本研究提案中，我们探究静水压作用下自旋1/2海森堡反铁磁体沃博矿（Volborthite）的结构变化。我们采用单晶X射线衍射（single crystal x-ray diffraction）技术，研究与磁交换相互作用相关的键角与原子间距的演化规律。
