The aim of this study was to map out long-term physical and mental health in victims of the Utøya Island massacre on July 22, 2011. Knowledge of risk factors is necessary for planning early intervention and treatment for future disasters and other traumatic events. The survey has a longitudinal design. Data was collected 4-5 months, 14-15 months and 30-32 months after the attack. Everyone who was at Utøya during the terrorist attack (and who was over 13 years in 2011) was invited to participate in the study.
