SST is hypermethylated in the aged human PFC

Poster presented at the Society for Biological Psychiatry Annual Meeting on May 10th, 2014 in New York City, NY. Summarizes our recent studies demonstrating that Somatostatin (SST) is hypermethylated in the human prefrontal cortex (PFC) of older individuals when compared to younger individuals and that the degree of methylation is negatively correlated with SST expression.
