Synthesis, Structure, and Properties of a Stable 1,2-Dibromodialumane(4) Bearing a Bulky Aryl Substituent

The stable 1,2-dibromodialumane(4) Bbp­(Br)­Al–Al­(Br)­Bbp
(1; Bbp = 2,6-bis­[bis­(trimethylsilyl)­methyl]­phenyl) was
synthesized
by the reduction of the corresponding dibromoalumane etherate BbpAlBr2·OEt2 (2). The structure and
properties of 1 have been elucidated on the basis of
the analyses of spectroscopic and crystallographic data and are supported
by DFT calculations.

稳定的1,2-二溴二铝烷(4)类化合物Bbp(Br)Al–Al(Br)Bbp（记为1；其中Bbp为2,6-双[双(三甲基硅基)甲基]苯基），经由相应的二溴铝烷醚合物BbpAlBr₂·OEt₂（记为2）的还原反应合成得到。化合物1的结构与性质通过光谱学与晶体学数据分析得以阐明，并得到了密度泛函理论（DFT）计算的支撑。
