RNA sequencing of neurons in medial preoptic area that projects to arcuate nucleus and paraventricular hypothalamic nucleus

To determine whether neurons in medial preoptic area (mPOA) that projects to arcuate nucleus (ARC) and paraventricular hypothalamic nucleus (PVH) present different gene expression patterns, 15 PVH-projecting and ARC-projecting mPOA neurons were collected separately using the suction pipette technique from adult mouse brain acute sections for RNA-seq and genome-wide transcriptome analysis.

为明确投射至弓状核（arcuate nucleus, ARC）与下丘脑室旁核（paraventricular hypothalamic nucleus, PVH）的内侧视前区（medial preoptic area, mPOA）神经元是否存在差异化基因表达模式，本研究采用抽吸式吸管采集技术，从成年小鼠急性脑切片中分别采集15个投射至PVH的mPOA神经元与15个投射至ARC的mPOA神经元，用于RNA测序（RNA-seq）及全基因组转录组分析。
