Images from an Archaeological Watching Brief at Foxton Locks, Gumley Road, Foxton, Leicestershire, August to September 2023

This collection contains images from an archaeological watching brief carried out by University of Leicester Archaeological Services. Work occurred on the side pond walls of Lock 14, Bottom Locks, Gumley Road, Foxton, Leicestershire, from August to September 2023. The watching brief was for remedial works to western end of a brick retaining wall dating to the early 2000s No traces of earlier structural details of retaining walls or revetments were identified.
