Escherichia coli from human and chicken guts in Lima, Peru

We compared the genome assemblies of E. coli from 64 humans and 54 broiler chickens collected in Lima, Peru in 2017-2019, to look for potential transmission of antibiotic resistance genes from animals into human populations.
