Emergent metastatic heterogeneity of primary tumor cells is restricted by the Ig-transmembrane protein VSIG IV

Our study prompeted us to assign, through spiked single cell RNAseq, metastatic function to transcriptomic cluster of colon cancer cells. Interactions between clones also uncover a restrictive anti metastatic influence that act intrinsically and non-cell automomously. We identify VSIG1 as critical mediator of this influence. 本研究通过加标单细胞RNA测序（spiked single cell RNAseq），确定结肠癌细胞的转录组聚类簇具备转移功能。克隆间的相互作用同时揭示了一种限制性抗转移影响，该影响可通过内在途径发挥作用且具有非细胞自主性。本研究鉴定出VSIG1是该影响的关键介导因子。本研究对分别经携带靶向VSIG1的短发夹RNA（shRNA）的慢病毒与PLKO空载体感染的克隆C11开展了RNA测序。
