Zoom (ROI-07) at 6.54um of the brain of donor LADAF-2021-17, scanned at ESRF on beamline BM18 using the HiP-CT imaging technique. Hierarchical Phase-Contrast Tomography (HiP-CT) is an X-ray technique that decouples field of view and resolution to image anywhere in the human body with cellular (micron) resolution. Imaging areas can be full organs at a resolution of 25 micron or zoomed regions in these organs with resolutions between 6 and 0.6 micron, one hundred times the resolution of medical CT.
捐赠者LADAF-2021-17的脑部样本,在欧洲同步辐射光源(ESRF)的BM18光束线采用分层相衬断层扫描(Hierarchical Phase-Contrast Tomography,HiP-CT)技术完成扫描,得到了该样本感兴趣区域(Region of Interest,ROI)-07、分辨率为6.54微米的放大成像结果。分层相衬断层扫描(HiP-CT)是一类X射线成像技术,可实现视场与分辨率解耦,从而以微米级细胞分辨率对人体任意部位开展成像。该技术的成像范围可覆盖两类场景:一是以25微米的分辨率对完整器官进行成像,二是对器官局部区域进行放大成像,分辨率区间为6至0.6微米,其分辨率可达医用CT的百倍。
