The complexity of lung microbiota and the limitations inherent in other microbiological methods render the identification of pulmonary infection pathogens rather challenging. Metagenomics Next-Generation Sequencing (mNGS) has widely been acknowledged as a revolutionary, bias-free and prediction-free detection method within the realm of respiratory infections. This study aims to assess both the diagnostic utility and clinical efficacy of mNGS in pulmonary infection. Moreover, we delved into an analysis of pathogenic characteristics and pulmonary microbiota specific to patients suffering from cancer combined with pulmonary infection
肺部微生物组的复杂性,加之其他微生物学方法固有的局限性,使得肺部感染病原体的鉴定工作颇具挑战。宏基因组二代测序(Metagenomics Next-Generation Sequencing,mNGS)已被广泛认可为呼吸道感染领域内一项革命性、无偏倚且无需预设靶标的检测方法。本研究旨在评估mNGS在肺部感染中的诊断价值与临床应用效能;此外,本研究还深入分析了合并肺部感染的癌症患者所特有的病原体特征与肺部微生物组特征。
