Physiological responses of the invasive common waxbill (Estrilda astrild) to varying ambient temperatures in Portugal. By examining body condition and mass-independent basal metabolic rate (BMR) during summer and autumn in two regions in Portugal, this research elucidates the species' strategies in response to temperature fluctuations.

葡萄牙境内入侵性普通梅花雀（Estrilda astrild）对不同环境温度的生理响应。本研究通过考察葡萄牙两个区域夏季与秋季的身体状况及体重非依赖型基础代谢率（basal metabolic rate, BMR），阐明了该物种应对温度波动的适应策略。
