《国际图联战略2024-2029》恰逢国际图联一百周年的时间节点，几乎与联合国2030年议程的收官之年重合。这两个里程碑都鼓励放眼长远，明晰我们对世界的未来规划，以及图书馆和国际图联能够发挥的作用。《国际图联战略2024-2029》由会员和志愿者协助制定，通过开展调查和磋商，我们了解到他们对于国际图联当前状况的看法，以及对未来的展望。《国际图联战略2024-2029》并非强制性规定，而是提供了一个广泛的框架，图书馆领域的任何人都可以据此来制定自己的计划。本战略对于我们期待的未来世界描绘了清晰的景象，并提供了一个变革理论，阐述了国际图联如何支持图书馆实现这一目标。它将为国际图联制定计划提供持续的参考，成为检验进度的标准，以及帮助外界制定战略的潜在模型。本战略还彰显了国际图联作为一个国际联盟的性质，将来自不同文化背景、语言社区、地理位置并拥有不同经历的人聚集在一起，为他们提供一个平台并推动取得成果。

The IFLA Strategy 2024–2029 coincides with the 100th anniversary of IFLA, and almost aligns with the final year of the UN 2030 Agenda. Both milestones call for a long-term perspective, clarifying our vision for the global future and the roles that libraries and IFLA can play. Developed with the assistance of IFLA members and volunteers through surveys and consultations, this strategy captures their views on IFLA's current situation and their future expectations. The IFLA Strategy 2024–2029 is not a mandatory regulation, but rather provides a broad framework that anyone in the library sector can use to formulate their own plans. This strategy depicts a clear vision of the future world we aspire to, and presents a theory of change outlining how IFLA supports libraries in achieving this goal. It will serve as a continuous reference for IFLA's plan formulation, a benchmark for progress evaluation, and a potential model to help external stakeholders develop their own strategies. The strategy also embodies IFLA's identity as an international alliance, bringing together people from diverse cultural backgrounds, linguistic communities, geographic locations and life experiences, providing them with a platform and driving tangible outcomes.
