Sequence data from "Zinc finger DNA-binding conditioned site-specific recombination" publication. This study contains sequence data for the determination of optimal fusion proteins of recombinases and zinc fingers. Optimal insertional fusion positions were determined with pentapeptide scanning mutageneisis followed by PacBio Hifi or Oxford Nanopore Technologies sequencing. Additionally, a high throughput screen to determine the optimal target site distance, linker composition and zinc finger orientation was performed using nanopore sequencing.
