Copernicus GLO-90 DEM elevation data regridded at 1km resolution

The file copernicus_lowresnc_global.nc was created using the raw Copernicus GLO-90 elevation data (https://doi.org/10.5270/ESA-c5d3d65) in tif format, resampling them at approximately 1km resolution and storing the regridded data in a single global file in netcdf format.The netcdf file was created applying the two attached python scripts to the original Copernicus GLO-90 data.This file can be used as input for the OroGlobo software (https://github.com/GuidoDavoli/oroglobo), a tool for the creation of sub-grid orography ancillary files for atmospheric model's orographic drag parameterizations.
