Spatial prioritization for plants and vertebrates in the Neotropics under climate change (RCP 8.5). Values in each prioritization dataset are 0 to 1 representing the rank order of each cell (1 = highest priority) scaled by the total number of cells in the solution. Prioritizations were produced with Zonation conservation planning software v4.0.0 with setting to optimize planning for climate change (see methods description in Hannah <i>et al</i>. 2020 <i>Ecography </i>https://doi.org/10.1111/ecog.05166). Existing protected areas as defined by the World Database of Protected Areas and areas of intensive agriculture or urban land use were excluded from the prioritization and appear as NoData.

本数据集为气候变化情景（典型浓度路径Representative Concentration Pathway, RCP 8.5）下新热带区（Neotropics）内针对植物与脊椎动物的空间优先保护规划结果。各优先规划数据集内的数值取值区间为0至1，用于表征每个网格单元的优先级排序（1代表最高优先级），该数值通过求解方案中的总网格单元数进行归一化缩放得到。本次优先规划结果通过Zonation保护规划软件v4.0.0生成，软件配置为优化气候变化适配的保护规划方案（详细方法参见Hannah等2020年发表于《Ecography》的研究，DOI: 10.1111/ecog.05166）。依据世界保护地数据库（World Database of Protected Areas）划定的现有保护地，以及集约化农业或城市土地利用区域，均被排除在本次优先规划范围之外，对应网格单元的数值为无数据（NoData）。
