Aim: This meta-analysis was conducted to evaluate the serum and salivary levels of oxidative stress-related
biomarkers in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) patients compared with controls. Methods: A search
of relevant articles that were published between 1 January 2000 and 20 March 2022, was conducted on
three electronic databases (Embase, PubMed and Cochrane Library). Results: A total of 15 articles were
included in the meta-analysis. The levels ofmalondialdehyde (MDA), superoxide dismutase (SOD), reduced
glutathione (GSH), glutathione peroxidase (GPx) in serum and MDA and GSH in saliva were significantly
changed in the OSCC group compared with healthy controls. Conclusion: This study suggests that some
oxidative stress biomarkers may be potential biomarkers in early OSCC diagnosis.
研究目的:本项荟萃分析旨在对比口腔鳞状细胞癌(oral squamous cell carcinoma, OSCC)患者与健康对照者的血清及唾液中氧化应激相关生物标志物水平。研究方法:本研究检索了2000年1月1日至2022年3月20日发表于Embase、PubMed及Cochrane Library三大电子数据库的相关文献。研究结果:本次荟萃分析共纳入15篇文献。与健康对照者相比,口腔鳞状细胞癌患者血清中的丙二醛(malondialdehyde, MDA)、超氧化物歧化酶(superoxide dismutase, SOD)、还原型谷胱甘肽(reduced glutathione, GSH)及谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶(glutathione peroxidase, GPx)水平,以及唾液中的丙二醛与还原型谷胱甘肽水平均发生显著变化。研究结论:本研究提示部分氧化应激生物标志物或可作为口腔鳞状细胞癌早期诊断的潜在生物标志物。
