Survey on the use of Application Profiles and Metadata Schemes

This survey by questionnaire (SurveyMonkey) was sent to the managers of 2,165 digital repositories registered at OpenDOAR. The data collection was performed from September 2014 until November 2014 and 431 questionnaires were filled (74,2% completed e 25,8% incomplete answers). The questionnaire was structured in three sections, with 11 questions. This survey enabled the identification of metadata application profiles, as well as schemas and metadata elements/properties used within these repositories. The data were exported to XLS.

本研究依托SurveyMonkey平台开展问卷调查，向注册于OpenDOAR的2165家数字仓储的管理人员发放了调研问卷。数据收集工作于2014年9月至2014年11月期间进行，共计回收填答问卷431份，其中74.2%为完整作答，25.8%为不完整作答。本次问卷共分为三个部分，涵盖11道题目。通过本次调查，实现了对各数字仓储所采用的元数据应用概要（metadata application profiles）、元数据架构（schemas）以及元数据元素/属性的识别。所有调研数据均已导出为XLS格式文件。
