A photomicrograph dataset of mid-Cretaceous Langshan Formation from the northern Lhasa Terrane, Tibet

There are 3 kinds of data files in this dataset, which are: (1) polarized microscope image set (zip format) of rock thin sections, which contains 3 stratigraphic sections of 1134 thin section photos, with data amount of 24.9 GB; (2) measured stratigraphic columns (pdf format), showing lithology, thickness and age of three measured sections, with data volume of 431 KB; (3) thin section identification information table (excel format), including the basic information of 559 rock thin sections and microscopic characteristics and other identification results, with a data volume of 190 KB.

本数据集共包含3类数据文件，分别为：
1. 岩石薄片（rock thin sections）偏光显微镜图像（polarized microscope image）集（ZIP格式）：涵盖3个地层剖面（stratigraphic sections）的1134张薄片照片，数据量为24.9 GB；
2. 实测地层柱状图（measured stratigraphic columns，PDF格式）：展示了3个实测剖面的岩性、厚度及年代信息，数据量为431 KB；
3. 薄片鉴定信息表（Excel格式）：包含559件岩石薄片的基础信息、显微特征等鉴定结果，数据量为190 KB。
