The Charters Towers Mining District, assigned to the Charters Towers Wardens Court and issued Plan Number 23 encompasses areas across four 2 Mile maps and twelve 4 Mile maps (2M 345, 2M 346, 2M 348, 2M 377, 4M 071, 4M 072, 4M 073, 4M 074, 4M 079, 4M 080, 4M 081, 4M 082, 4M 088, 4M 089, 4M 095, 4M 096) this District was established on 1st January, 1972.
The maps have been charted by the Department of Mines, Queensland, to show Mining District names and boundaries, the assigned Wardens Court, and the allocated Plan Number. The Mining District Plans are made up of charted Two and Four Mile maps and contained within bound folders.
The 2M 345 series map was published in 1965 at 2 Miles to an Inch as part of the Queensland Two Mile Series and is located within the Charters Towers Mining District (8357, 8358, 8457, 8458) 1:100 000 map areas.

本批地图由昆士兰州矿业部（Department of Mines, Queensland）编制，用于标注矿业区名称与边界、所属治安法庭及分配的规划编号。该矿业区规划图集由已测绘的2英里与4英里比例尺地图组成，收纳于装订成册的文件夹内。
