Dual role of uridylation in bulk mRNA decay

To study the function of uridylation in mRNA metabolism we constructed several fission yeast strains with different decay routes selectively inhibited. We next implemented an effective approach to monitor the RNA 3' end sequence and estimate non-templated tail length.
