特征特性(14)小肠病变 TGE病毒属于冠状病毒科冠状病毒属。电镜负染观察，TGE病毒粒子呈圆形、椭圆形或多边形。病毒直径为90-200nm，有双层膜，外膜覆有花瓣样突起，突起长约18-24nm，突起以极小的柄连接于囊膜的表层，其末端呈球状，病毒粒子内部在以磷钨酸负染以后可见一个电子透明中心；也有人描述病毒粒子内部具有一个呈半球样的丝状物。

(14) Characteristics: Small Intestinal Lesions. Transmissible Gastroenteritis Virus (TGEV) belongs to the genus Coronavirus under the family Coronaviridae. When observed via negative staining under electron microscopy, TGEV virions appear round, oval or polygonal, with a diameter of 90–200 nm and a double membrane envelope. The envelope is covered with petal-like projections that measure 18–24 nm in length, attached to the envelope surface via tiny stalks and ending in a globular shape. After negative staining with phosphotungstic acid, an electron-lucent center can be observed inside the virions; some researchers have also described that the interior of the virions contains a hemispherical filamentous structure.
