PBA PROSTATECTOMIA RADICAL LAPAROSCÓPICA

The introduction of competency-based training has necessitated the development and implementation of acompanying mechanisms for the assessment of the prescribed competencies (Shalhoub, 2017). The Procedure Based Assessment (PBA) is a Workplace-Based Assessment tool designed to encourage the development of trainees' clinical, technical, and professional skills and allows for on-the-job assessment of competence (Awad, 2014). The authors present a Laparoscopic Radical Prostatectomy PBA tool developed in Brazil, based on a group consensus methodology.
