The LEBA European Power Peak and Baseload traded price and volume data indices focus on seven main European liberalised Power markets; Belgium, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Spain, and Switzerland.

The LEBA European Power indices focus on the main European liberalised Power markets. Electricity, unlike gas, cannot be stored and so production, consumption and pricing between interconnected markets mean that the price of power is more volatile than gas. Even though it is an interconnected market, prices differ between countries. The constituents to the LEBA indices represent many of the most liquid European Power markets providing a comprehensive view of the overall market.

The LEBA European Power indices are determined by including both physically-delivered and financially-settled transactions across each European market.
