Coupled atmosphere-wave-ocean modeling of the entire Gulf of Mexico during July through August 2012. Atmosphere model: Weather Research and Forecasting model (WRF) Wave model: University of Miami Wave Model (UMWM) Ocean model: Hybrid Coordinate Model (HYCOM) This dataset comprises the surface data from atmospheric component (WRF). This dataset was created by the Consortium for Advanced Research on Transport of Hydrocarbon in the Environment (CARTHE). This research was made possible by a grant from BP/The Gulf of Mexico Research Initiative.

本数据集基于2012年7月至8月期间针对整个墨西哥湾开展的大气-海浪-海洋耦合模拟构建。其中，大气模式采用天气研究与预报模型（Weather Research and Forecasting model, WRF），海浪模式采用迈阿密大学海浪模型（University of Miami Wave Model, UMWM），海洋模式采用混合坐标海洋模型（Hybrid Coordinate Model, HYCOM）。本数据集包含大气分量（WRF）的地面数据。本数据集由环境碳氢化合物输运高级研究联盟（Consortium for Advanced Research on Transport of Hydrocarbon in the Environment, CARTHE）构建完成。本研究的开展依托英国石油公司（BP）与墨西哥湾研究倡议提供的资助。
