Transcriptome analysis of the amphipods in the hadal region

The amphipod Hirondellea gigas is the resident in the deepest sea bottom on earth. Their life and biochemical status are still unknown. To investigate the habitat of H. gigas, we isolated RNA from captured H. gigas and decided the mRNA sequence.

端足类动物（amphipod）巨钩虾（Hirondellea gigas）是栖息于地球最深海床的物种。其生存习性与生化特性至今仍未明确。为探究巨钩虾的栖息环境，本研究从捕获的巨钩虾样本中提取了核糖核酸（RNA），并测定了其信使核糖核酸（mRNA）序列。
