ROOT Scripts for Figures in "New Constraints on Axion-Like Particles with the NEON Detector at a Nuclear Reactor"

Description: This dataset contains four ROOT scripts used to generate the figures presented in the manuscript “New Constraints on Axion-Like Particles with the NEON Detector at a Nuclear Reactor” (arXiv:2406.06117). The scripts were developed using the CERN ROOT framework and are provided to support data transparency and reproducibility. Contents: modelingD6_single.C : Background modeling for detector-6 using both reactor-on and reactor-off data. modelingD6_onoff.C : Background modeling for reactor-on-minus-off spectra, including expected ALP signal curves for two benchmark scenarios limit_grr.C : Generation of the exclusion limit plot for the ALP–photon coupling limit_gee.C : Generation of the exclusion limit plot for the ALP–electron coupling These scripts reproduce the corresponding figures from the main text and may be useful for researchers working on axion-like particle searches or related low-background experiments.
