Annotated Video Dataset of Oil Palm Fruit Bunch Piles for Ripeness Grading

The dataset was obtained directly from palm oil mills in the form of videos and images with different categories in accordance with the real conditions faced by the grading section of the palm oil mill. The video dataset consists of 45 videos with a single category of FFB videos and 56 videos with a collection of FFB with multiple categories for each video. Videos are collected using a smartphone with a size of 1280 x 720 pixels in .mp4 format. In addition, this dataset has also been annotated and labeled the maturity level of oil palm fruit with 6 categories, namely unripe, underripe, ripe, overripe, empty bunches, and abnormal fruit. The number of annotated images for 6 categories of maturity level is 4160 with the number of objects labeled 14559. This dataset is useful for developing algorithms for detecting and classifying the maturity level of oil palm fruit bunches and can be applied to real-time use with robots or smartphones.

本数据集直接取自棕榈油加工厂，采集形式涵盖视频与图像，所有类别均贴合棕榈油厂分级工段的实际作业场景。该视频数据集包含两类：45段仅含单一类别的油棕果串（Fresh Fruit Bunch，FFB）视频，以及56段每段均包含多类别油棕果串的视频。所有视频均通过智能手机采集，分辨率为1280×720像素，格式为.mp4。此外，本数据集已完成标注，为油棕果串的成熟度等级标注了6个类别，分别为未成熟、欠成熟、成熟、过成熟、空果串与异常果簇。对应6个成熟度类别的标注图像共计4160张，标注对象总数量为14559个。本数据集可用于开发油棕果串成熟度检测与分类算法，且可适配机器人或智能手机的实时应用场景。
